Event Schedule

The Ultimate Painball Championship: Inaugural Invitational is scheduled for Saturday, October 16, 2027, running across an intensive 15-hour operational window (05:00 AM – 08:00 PM) at the Tactical Force Arena. The tournament matches 12 elite four-player squads across 33 high-octane Close Quarters Battle (CQB) games, utilizing dedicated Glock 17T training pistols firing 9mm Force on Force marking rounds.

Below is the chronological synopsis of how match day will unfold from initial mobilization to final facility clear:

05:00 AM – 07:45 AM | Armory Mobilization, Vendor Setup & Site Sterilization

  • 05:00 AM – 06:45 AM (Transport & Arrival): The logistics and armory crews arrive at storage to load out 14 Glock 17T pistols, 60 magazines, 14,000 rounds of 9mm Speer marking ammunition, ballistic masks, AV sound equipment, and arena staging infrastructure. Equipment arrives at the venue dock by 06:45 AM.

  • 06:30 AM – 07:15 AM (Vendor Load-In): Commercial sponsors and tactical equipment vendors arrive at the service entrance. Marshals enforce a strict 15-minute unload rule to clear vehicles to off-site parking before booth setup in Vendor Alley.

  • 06:45 AM – 07:30 AM (Cold Line & Sterilization): Staff establish the perimeter cold line using high-visibility warning markers. The Lead Range Safety Officer (RSO) and on-site EMT conduct a range inspection, staging the IFAK trauma kits, eyewash stations, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at the Chrono Station. Range staff enforce a strict zero-live-ammunition policy with physical metal-detector checks across all staging areas.

07:30 AM – 08:30 AM | Staff Briefing, Check-In & Mandatory Safety Briefing

  • 07:30 AM – 08:00 AM (RSO Shift Activation): The 7 Range Safety Officers are divided into Squad Alpha, Squad Bravo, and the Dedicated Spectator Challenge Station. Staff test earpieces and radios on Channel 1 (Operations) and Channel 2 (Medical Emergency).

  • 07:45 AM – 08:15 AM (Roster & Chrono Verification): The 12 team captains sign in their 4-player rosters, submit verified liability waivers, and present their squads at the Chrono Desk. Each player receives their official factory-blue G-17T sidearm, ANSI Z87.1+ protective mask, and exactly three pre-loaded 15-round magazines (45 rounds total).

  • 08:00 AM (Spectator & VIP Gate Opening): Doors open to general admission and VIP spectators. VIP pass holders receive commemorative morale patches, hard-card lanyards, lunch vouchers, and entry into the air-conditioned lounge.

  • 08:15 AM – 08:30 AM (Mandatory RSO Safety Briefing): The Lead RSO delivers the mandatory rules address:

    • Zero-Tolerance Mask Rule: Ballistic eye and face protection must remain sealed at all times past the staging line. Lifting a mask on an active field results in an immediate team disqualification (DQ).

    • 180-Degree Muzzle Discipline: Barrels must remain pointed strictly downrange toward opponent spawn lanes with zero blind-firing around barricades.

    • Ceasefire Protocol: On the call "CEASEFIRE!", all firing ceases instantly, weapons lower to low-ready, and players freeze in place.

08:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Tournament Block 1: Team Deathmatch (11 Matches)

  • Match Mechanics: Matches run in tight 15-minute operational blocks (8-minute game clock + 7-minute field reset and chrono turn-around). Squad Alpha and Bravo rotate in a 2-on / 1-off schedule (45 minutes active on field, 22.5 minutes rest) to maintain maximum alertness.

  • Gameplay: Squads eliminate opposing operators within the 8-minute cap. Hits are confirmed by direct dye marks on bodies, tactical gear, or sidearms. Eliminated players raise an un-armed hand, shout "HIT!", and clear through marked safety lanes without speaking. Ties are broken based on the first-blood timestamp.

12:30 PM – 01:15 PM | Midday Intermission & Main Stage Exhibition

  • Field Reset & Rotation: RSOs rotate for a staggered 30-minute lunch. Armorers sweep the active field for marking debris and inspect barricades for stability.

  • Spectator 15-Round Speed & Precision Challenge: The secondary live range opens under a dedicated RSO. Spectators who purchased entry or hold VIP passes step up with an official G-17T to engage 5 knock-down reactive steel plates at 10 yards against an electronic shot timer, competing for daily pro-shop credits and gear prizes.

  • Vendor Alley Engagement: Competitors and attendees browse product booths and access local food concessions.

01:15 PM – 04:30 PM | Tournament Block 2: Capture the Flag (11 Matches)

  • Gameplay: Squads deploy from opposite gates to secure a neutral high-visibility flag placed at center-field and extract it back to their home perimeter base.

  • Tactical Limits: Flag carriers struck by paint must drop the flag in place immediately; passing or throwing the flag is prohibited. Strict 45-round loadouts force squads to suppress opposing lanes and push cover methodically.

  • Bracket Updates: Field scorekeepers tally match eliminations and time markers on the central standing board to establish semifinal seeding.

04:30 PM – 07:15 PM | Tournament Block 3: Search & Destroy, Semifinals & Championship

  • Matches 23 – 29: Teams compete in "Plant the Bomb" scenarios. Attacking squads maneuver to arm a digital prop bomb unit at designated target zones, while defending teams execute counter-assaults to eliminate attackers or defuse the device within a 45-second timer window.

  • 06:15 PM – 06:45 PM (Semifinals): Seed 1 faces Seed 4, and Seed 2 battles Seed 3 under maximum field RSO coverage.

  • 06:45 PM – 07:00 PM (3rd Place Playoff): Semifinal runner-ups compete for the bronze placement.

  • 07:00 PM – 07:15 PM (Match 33: Championship Match): The two finalists battle in an intense, broadcast-covered championship game to decide the tournament champion.

07:15 PM – 08:00 PM | Awards Ceremony, Teardown & Armory Lock-Up

  • 07:15 PM – 07:30 PM (Awards Ceremony): The Event Director presents trophies to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, crowns the Spectator Shooting Challenge winner, and acknowledges title and vendor sponsors.

  • 07:30 PM – 08:00 PM (Armory Reconciliation & Teardown):

    • Lead Armorers and RSOs collect all 14 Glock 17T pistols and 60 magazines, verifying serial numbers and field-stripping units for cleaning.

    • Unexpended ammunition is counted, sealed, and secured in rolling hard transport cases.

    • Event Marshals inspect the CQB facility alongside venue management, file completed incident forms and safety logs, and close down site operations.
