Rules and Regulations

Painball is a team shooting sport utilizing realistic weapons that fire nonabrasive safe simunition ammunition within the current standard velocity limits.
​
Welcome to the Painball Tournament! To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants, please familiarize yourself with the following rules and regulations:

1. Team Composition:
1.1. Teams consist of 4 players.
1.2. Each team must designate a captain who will be the primary point of contact with event organizers.

2. Equipment:
2.1. All participants must use painball markers provided by the event organizers.
2.2. Only approved painballs will be fired. Participants must use event-provided painballs.
2.3. Masks, goggles, and other safety equipment must be worn at all times during gameplay and is not included in the ticket price.
3. Gameplay:
3.1. The tournament will follow a bracket-style format with elimination rounds.
3.2. Each match consists of two games, with teams switching sides during the next game.
3.3. Teams are eliminated if the sum of all the player's hits exceeds the other team's sum of player hits at the end of each round. A hit is considered valid if it breaks on the player or their equipment, regardless of if paint has spilled onto the player.
3.4. Referees will enforce rules and monitor fair play. Disputes should be addressed to the referees immediately.

4. Scoring:
4.1. Points are also awarded for completing specific objectives.
4.2. The team with the lowest hit count at the end of the match, while completing the specific objectives, advances to the next round.

5. Safety:
5.1. No physical contact is allowed between players.
5.2. Players must adhere to the designated boundaries of the playing field.
5.3. Refrain from shooting within close range to avoid injury.
5.4 Liability forms must be completed on-site before the tournament begins.
5.5. If under the age of 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must be present and sign a liability waiver on your behalf.
5.6. All participants, including players and spectators, must complete a video release on-site before the tournament begins.
5.7. A full face mask must be worn at all times when inside the designated painball arena.
5.8. All participants, including players and spectators, must complete the required safety meeting before any games are started and will will discuss the following topics:
a. Detailed explanation of the player safety rules - clearly specifying those rules which result in player ejection.
b. Games rules
c. The geographical diagram of the field
d. Emergency procedures
e. Referees are assigned to each group at this time.
5.9 All painball blasters, weapons and equipment are checked for relevant safety efficacy using a chronograph procedure before any games are started.
5.10. All painball blasters and weapons will remain inside the playable arena and will be transportated to and from the playable arena while enclosed in specific painball cases while wearing approved barrel blockers.
5.11. If an emergency arises, notify a referee immediately.

6. Sportsmanship:
6.1. Respect fellow participants, referees, and event staff.
6.2. Unsportsmanlike conduct, including foul language and aggressive behavior, will not be tolerated.

7. Prohibited Actions:
7.1. Cheating, tampering with equipment, or any form of unsportsmanlike behavior is strictly prohibited.
7.2. Consumption of alcohol or illegal substances is not allowed on the premises.
7.3 Any type of real firearm or firearm ammunition is strictly prohibited on the premises and may result in permanent expulsion from all future events.

8. Event Schedule:
8.1. Teams must arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled match time.
8.2. The tournament schedule will be strictly adhered to. Late arrivals may result in disqualification.

By participating in the Painball Tournament, you agree to abide by these rules and regulations. Event organizers reserve the right to disqualify teams or individuals not complying with the established guidelines. Have a thrilling and safe tournament!
